Griff is run by a professional crew of nine, which is a large crew for this size yacht but reflects the Owner’s desire for impeccable service and a well maintained yacht.

All the crew are trained to the accepted
standards of the yacht industry, and hold the appropriate qualifications for their position on board. Also,  STCW 95, Marine First Aid and Fire Fighting skills are held by all crew, and drills and training are done on a regular basis.

The Deck team is led by the Captain and in
addition comprises a Chief Officer (Mate), a Leading Hand and a Deckhand.  This ensures
the yacht can function on a 24 hour basis, as is sometimes necessary on overnight passages during charters and longer voyages.

At least one British Merchant Navy trained Engineer is on duty on board at all times, and
quite often there are two.
