Designed and built to cruise the inland waters of Sweden,
with occasional visits to the Mediterranean, some changes
have been made over the years since the yacht has evolved
into a successful charter yacht cruising in all oceans. The
center gas turbine, which originally pushed the yacht along
at speeds up to 40 knots was removed in favor of more moderate
speeds and lower fuel consumption.
The interior has always been both stunning
and practical – Griff is about as close as you can
get to an ideal five stateroom charter yacht layout. However,
an under-utilized media and conference room forward on
the main deck has been transformed into a new Master stateroom
which will give the yacht six staterooms and the ability
to sleep 12 in superb style and comfort.
All soft furnishings on the yacht have been updated and
refreshed under the new ownership, and all artwork has
been replaced with tasteful and restful paintings, gathered
from the owners travels.
New tenders, jet skis, kayaks, go peds,
and snorkeling & dive gear is on board and ready for
action.
Improved electronics on the Bridge have resulted in more
efficient passages and safer navigation, and planned maintenance
systems have resulted in improved reliability and greater
comfort for the guests.
A big plus for those offshore passages between islands
is the addition of stabilizers, in addition to the stabilizing
trim tabs originally installed for a faster yacht.
Perhaps one of the most useful features improved
by the present owner is the addition of 24/7 broadband
internet access, which along with improved communications
and satellite TV with multiple channels has transformed
the time a busy executive can spend on board with his family.
